The heat sealing workflow of automotive TPU lumbar support

Typical Workflow (Taking a TPU Lumbar Support as an Example)

Feeding: The operator precisely places the cut TPU upper and lower sheets onto the lower mold using positioning pins.

Start-up: Pressing the dual start button initiates automatic operation.

Pressure Pressing: The upper mold descends at a constant speed under servo drive, pressing the sheets together.

Welding: The high-frequency generator activates, completing welding and fusion under preset time, power, and pressure parameters.

Cooling and Pressure Holding: The high-frequency generator stops, but pressure is maintained to allow the molten portion to fully cool and solidify.

Demolding: The upper mold rises, and the operator removes the welded, semi-finished lumbar support airbag.

Unloading and Inspection: A preliminary visual inspection is performed, and the airbag is then sent to subsequent processes (valve installation, airtightness testing).
